Description
Probably a Passenger Transport Company bus. From the front of the bus looking towards the back seat. On the left are six rows of seats, on the right are five rows of seats. There are two split windows on either side with a metal handles to open them. The back window is also split with a piece of metal down the middle. The luggage rack is a set of thin pieces of wood or metal attached to angled brackets. There are two poles attached to the ceiling. On either side of the poles are oval lights in metal surrounds set on the ceiling. A second bus can be seen through the back windows. To the right is the a large rectangular object with hanging strands like a car wash although it looks too small to be a bus wash. One of a set of four photographs showing the seating from the back (02/080/033), from the front (this record), the driver's seat (02/080/031) and steering wheel (02/080/030). 02/080/033 shows that this is no. 22. There are three possibilities for no. 22: a 1927 Stewart 19, a 1939 Leyland Cheetah RLZ05 or a 1966 Bedford SB3.
