Matchbook: cardboard, white background. Front: “CITY OF AUCKLAND CENTENNIAL 1871 1971” with logo comprising of a pink and an orange arrow that meet and travel upwards. Back: depicts an image of the Apollo moon landing with “APOLLO / MOONSHIP / A souvenir matchbook / of the lunar landing / craft which landed / six men safely on the / moon and helped / return three others / to earth when / their moon / mission was / aborted”. Bottom: “STRIKE-RITE (N.Z.) BOX 263 AUCK.”. Contains matches, white with blue striking head.
