Brief History
This wooden wagon is the earliest surviving L wagon, dating back to as early as the mid-1870s. It has wooden sole bars and transoms, wooden headstock and coil springs, although the axle boxes are of a more modern type and would have been fitted at a later date. Both its history and its number are unknown.
