Description
Auckland’s last tram on 29 December 1956. The interior of Tram No. 242 on the last trip down Queen Street to the official closing ceremony. At left is C.R. Gribble (General Manager of the Auckland Transport Board), and behind, Gil Elliott, the veteran motorman who crewed No. 11, the Jubilee tram in November 1952.
