Description
Black and white photograph postcard showing a women with a child. Information on the back gives Jocelyn and Barbara as the probable names of the people. The young woman on the right has dark bobbed hair. She is wearing a white short sleeved blouse or dress. Her left arm is bent at the elbow and her forearm is horizontal to the ground. She has a metal chain half way along her forearm. Her right arm is mostly hidden behind the child. Her right forearm and hand can be seen behind her left forearm and hand. Her hands are clasped together and she has a string of beads wound through the fingers of both hands. She can only be seen to waist level. To the left is a young child seated on a table covered with a lighted covered covering. The child is leaning against the woman. The child has short dark hair and is dressed in a light coloured smock that reaches to the ankles. The child has bare feet. The child's right hand can be see about knee level with the arm behind the body. The child's left hand and be seen resting over the top the the woman's right forearm. The woman is looking toward the viewer, and the baby is looking to the right of the viewer.
