Description
Black and white mounted photograph showing a young child with ringlets standing on a chair that has been covered with a piece of geometrically patterned fabric. Assuming that the child is a girl based on the clothing which appears to be a smaller version of an adult woman's garment. She is wearing a light coat with light coloured buttons down the front. There is a small cape across the shoulders, possibly of light coloured fur, that is fastened with a stone or metal bar. The full length coat is bulky. She is wearing a white furry hat decorated with what looks like to rabbit's ears on top of it. It is held by white ribbons tied in a bow under her left ear. The girl is looking to the left of the viewer. Both arms are straight down her body with the curled fingers of both hands just visible at the ends of her sleeves. At the front of the chair seat and in front of the child's feet is an adult tabby cat. The cat is lying so that the right side of the cat can be seen. In the background is leafy vegetation.
