Description
Black and white photograph postcard showing three boys mounted on horses. The youngest boy is on the left mounted on a dark coloured pony. He is wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, dark knee length socks and dark shoes. The pony is saddled and bridled. There is some kind of round decoration on the bridle behind the pony's ear. The saddle blanket is a large rug with a dark background and a series of light ever small rectangles on it. Around the pony's neck and resting on its chest is a wide ribbon with some kind of rosette shaped device in the centre. The centre boy is mounted on a light coloured horse that is slightly taller and broader than the pony to the left. He is wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, dark knee length socks and dark shoes. The pony is saddled and bridled. Around the pony's neck and resting on its chest is a wide ribbon with some kind of rosette shaped device in the centre. The oldest boy is on the right mounted on a dark coloured horse. He is wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, dark knee length socks and ankle boots. The pony is saddled and bridled. The saddle blanket is a large rug with a dark background and a series of light ever smaller rectangles on it. Around the pony's neck and resting on its chest is a wide two tone ribbon with some kind of rosette shaped device in the centre. The boy on the left is looking to the right of the viewer. The centre boy is looking at the viewer. The boy on the right is looking to the left of the viewer. The right side of the pony on the left can be seen. The head, chest and forelegs of the centre horse can be seen. The left side of the horse on the right can be seen. There are black bands at the top and bottom of the image.
