A gold coloured watch chain hangs over his front to the left. The man is looking towards the viewer. Behind his left shoulder is the rounded end of the chair in which he is seated. Under his right arm is the end of a table? There is a thin gold coloured pattern of flowers and leaves along the outer edges of both sides. The image is within a plain gold coloured metal mat that has curved corners.
