Description
1.Box Lid: Cardboard box lid, black on outside.
2. Box Base: Cardboard box base, white on outside. There is writing on the bottom of the box in pencil "Sample Wright's Soap / 3oz 4 London" in black ink pen "Weight of N.Z tab / 3 1/2 ozs"
3. Soap: Dense, deep yellow coloured rectangular oval soap with rounded sides. On one side is imprinted "Wright's / COAL TAR / SOAP", on the other is imprinted "SAPO CARBONIS / DETERGENS" around a further imprinted oval "PERSEVERANDO - VINCES / WWW & CO"
4. Note: On light mint green paper, with "No. 23833" printed in black at bottom, handwritten note in pink pencil. "31st Oct 1945 / Wright's Coal Tar soap. / This is a sample from London and / is only 3ozs. / It is the only sample in N.Z."
