A set of gold weighted scales. Scales are kept within their original wooden case, hinged lid and lined with red velvet along the base. The scales have a hanging composition with two circular disks affixed to cotton string holding them to the centre balance bar. The scale set comes with 8 weights, four are gold nuggets, two are circular silver coloured weights and two are small discs of bronze coloured metal. These weights are kept in a separate in-built compartment within the case.
