Description
Portable potentiometer in wooden case with metal clasps. Made by Cambridge Instrument Co. Ltd, England. Inside case is grey metal control panel with several adjustment dials, buttons, wire clamps and a gauge, possibly voltmeter. Inside lid is metal bracket for holding instruction sheets and other information.

I served a 6 year indentured apprenticeship with this Company between 1947 and 1954.The company produced a vast variety of first grade scientific instruments all of which were made in house.The only bought out items were the teak boxes which were made by a specialist company.
