"Royal Air Force Bomber Command 1939-1945”: Cotton, rectangular, sewn at ends to mount wooden rods for hanging. Thick blue outer border with thin inner red border. Features a map of Great Britain showing RAF stations, a quote by Winston Churchill (“THE FIGHTERS ARE OUR SALVATION, BUT THE BOMBERS ALONE PROVIDE THE MEANS OF VICTORY”), and depictions of planes flown by Bomber Command (Bristol Blenheim, Handley Page Halifax B11 Series 1, Vickers-Armstrong Wellington III, Armstrong Whitworth Whitley Mk V, Handley Page Hampden 1, Avro Lancaster 1, de Havilland Mosquito B mk XV1, The Short Stirling). Produced in 1981 by Vista, made in Britain.
