Description
Thomas Frederick Duck, "Medoplin" aircraft paint on aero fabric. Painted by LAC [Leading Aircraftman] HC Maund in 1944. Painting is a period copy of the original nose art of Lancaster III T flown by Squadron 156 (PFF) between 27 May 1943 and 20 October 1943.
Painting has black background with depiction of duck wearing WW2 flight gear, inside a half egg shell with the RAF logo at the bottom. "THOMAS FREDERICK / DUCK".
