Description
This white enamelled ‘Varese’ refrigerator was manufactured by the Indesit Company, and was purchased new in South Africa in 1958. It features a freezer, crisper drawer, Meats drawer, butter softener, and egg tray. Considered an advanced fridge for its time. 230 volts AC. Refrigerator has a metal pull-down handle at the front on the left edge, handle has a key hole lock. There is a raised plastic makers label in the centre top of the door, with gold writing, There are two stoppers, one in each of the top corners at the rear of the refrigerator, to stop it from hitting the wall.
