Gold coloured, circular medal. Obverse: "1300 1500 / 1860 / SIT PERPETUUM" depicts two men in military regalia, one carries bow and arrow, the other a bayonet.
Reverse: Wreath around border with text in centre of medal "THE / NATIONAL / RIFLE ASSOCIATION / 1860 / BISLEY MEETING 1950 / REVOLVER & PISTOL / SILHOUETTE"
