Cream silk parachute fragment. Triangular, cut along two edges stitching along two edges, stained/foxing. Makers/date stamps in green and black, and eagle over swastika stamped in black in corner,.
From a WW2 German parachute, retrieved from the Sahara desert a member of the New Zealand Army. Petticoats were made from the rest of the parachute.
