Telephone exchange / switch board (PABX) larger than a standard model, wooden upright desk with shelf/desktop inlaid on hinged section that opens by key (key missing, keyhole found on outer face of shelf) are white circles with black text that read 'ANS' 'SPEAK' 'CALL' 'HAND GEN', red and black switches, plugs on extendable cords, round dome lights (white) , Phone dial (rotary) numbers 0-9 , Vertical metal panel above inlaid into body of desk has black and red switches, numbered sockets, round dome lights (red,white), white text on black background reads 'N.SW' 'DIAL' 'CALL' 'V.E.S.' 'EXTEN // LINES' and black text on white reads 'CORD TEST', two grey panels read '...// ALARM'
