Brief History
Rail wagon La 24910 was one of 4277 La 8 wagons built between 1943 and 1952 by New Zealand Railways. This type of wagon was used for general purpose freight such as coal, timber, and fertiliser. This wagon was altered on the 27th of April 1974 at A&G. Price Ltd and fitted with corrugated ends. In approximately 1978 it was renumbered LA 75483. It was written off on the 18th of July 1987 at Auckland Railway Yard.
