Introduction video to the KPM site at MOTAT. The site is named after Sir Keith Rodney Park, first Air Chief Marshal of the Air Force. Notes how New Zealand aviation is not yet 100 years old and notes some of New Zealand's aviation pioneers; Richard Pearse, Jean Batten, George Bolt, Ossy James, and the Walsh Brothers. The Sir Keith Park Memorial site at Meola Road, Western Springs is an acknowledgement of the efforts of volunteers. Volunteers take pride in demonstrating to visitors the unique features of the collection. After years of dedicated effort they have restored and developed the aircraft collection to standard that has received international recognition for the quality of its preservation and presentation.
