Description
From St Saviours Church. The Anglican Church formerly situated at Blockhouse Bay before it was moved to MOTAT in 1974; thirteen Sunday school registers , c. 1935-1947.
The standard printed registers were used to record the students weekly attendance and progress for one year. The cover of the printed registers provides for the teacher to enter (Sunday) School. Class No. and Teacher.
Page one provides columns for the names of scholars and other detail. On page three the register has columns for the names of scholars, address, school standard, age, birthday. The register from pages four to twenty seven provides for the attendance and progress record with provision for a yearly analysis of the students progress on page twenty seven. The registers are compiled weekly by the teacher to variable standards of entry.
