Navy blue tram conductor's peaked cap/hat. Black vinyl brim,black vinyl band attached to the sides with studs. Silver ATB badge on front. Lined in black, brown faux leather interior band. Part of 1970s tram uniform.

Public comments
I believe this hat came directly or indirectly from Eric Burns or his estate. Eric was a former Auckland Transport Board Tramway Motorman and volunteer at MOTAT The hat badge is a genuine Auckland Transport Badge. The hat is most likely of a railway design. Eric was a locomotive engineer at the Bush Tramway Club at Pukemiro. See www.mainlinesteam.co.nz/news.html . 7th January 2014. Shows Eric in tram uniform with hat, but minus ATB badge.
