Description
Zig zag sewing machine used in shoe manufacturing. Cast metal painted grey, white plastic dials. Model 338.
Brief History
This machine was used in the manufacture of children’s shoes by J M Alexander Shoes, Auckland, in the 1960s. The machine was attached to a large kauri work bench and powered by a central generator.
