Sewing machine used in shoe making. Cast metal painted black with attached lamp and 17 assorted parts for attaching to work bench.
Brief History
This machine was used in the manufacture of children’s shoes by J M Alexander Shoes, Auckland, in the 1960s. The machine was attached to a large kauri work bench and powered by a central generator.
