Brief History
Released around 1982, the Panasonic JB-3000 was claimed to be a fully compatible IBM Personal Computer (PC) look-alike, running Microsoft's MS-DOS and other IBM PC operating systems. It boasted a larger memory, greater storage, and a slightly larger screen than the IBM PC.

This particular computer was purchased in Singapore and was used until 2000 by an Auckland chartered accountant to process financial accounts.

In the early 1980s, Cutler Hammer (EATON) (NZ) Ltd programmed these computers (in assembler) to be a Colour Graphics MMI System to display mimic diagrams of industrial plants, such as power stations, milk processing plants etc.
