Description

George Watt was awarded CBE, AFC, Legion of Merit(Officer), Past President of the Royal Aeronautical Society NZ Division. He joined the NZ Territorial Air Force 1927 , qualified pilot 1929 and gained permanent commission with RAF 1933. He was experimental pilot RAE 1939-40. He held senior positions in turbine development RAF and Rolls Royce was also working with Sir Frank Whittle.Rolls Royce Regional Executive NZ and he passed away around 1980.
