Description
Knitting machine (wool winder). Wood feet of table, rectangular wide slats with front slat 'stepped' inwards. Metal cast iron legs at sides with wooden top and hinged wooden table extension at front. Metal frames at sides hold 2 metal rods. Bottom rod connects to 1 large grooved wheel on the left side and 2 smaller tear shaped wheels on the right and left. Tear drop shaped wheels connect to rods that run vertical through table top and hold a metal plate that has three spinning mechanisms on. Upper rod below table holds 4 large wheels that are evenly spaced along length between legs and a large wheel with wide rim on left. Wheels all touch another horizontal wheel at base of spindle holders that run up through table. 3 wooden spindles sit on metal rods that are part of spindle holders mechanism. Note with machine "KNITTING MACHINE / BRAEMORN KNITWEAR / 78 LORNE ST".
