Description
White cotton, High neck, with lace trim. Yoke: Pleated with 3 borders of Broderie Anglaise with lace frill edging on 2 of borders. Sleeves: Short sleeves, gathered at cuff and end in frill with lace edging. Waist tie belt attached to yoke and are embellished at end of each tie with 2 pin tucks and Broderie Anglaise. Skirt, hemmed in 1 braid stripe, a Broderie Anglaise stripe with flowers and circular pattern, another braid stripe, 2 pin tucks, hem is scalloped Broderie Anglaise with floral and swirl design. Closure: drawstring tie at neck c. 1900
