Description

White cotton, Yoke: inset lawn with a self embroidered floral design with Broderie Anglaise frill. High neck and short sleeves trimmed with scalloped lace. Cotton gathered in vertical pleats on chest and under horizontal panel of Broderie Anglaise with yellow satin ribbon running through it and tie belt attached at either side. Closure: drawstring tie. Skirt plain with wide hemming, c. 1900.
