Description
White cotton. Yoke has a Broderie Anglaise frill trim around neck. Has three vertical stripes of Broderie Anglaise, 6 pin tucks, braided trim, more Broderie Anglaise angled towards middle of yoke. Broderie Anglaise has a circle and floral design. At at the waist there is a panel of Broderie Anglaise running horizontally with darts at eith end. Belt ties are stitched to horizontal panel. End of each tie has scalloped Broderie Anglaise attached. Long sleeves with Broderie Anglaise cuff, with a double sided Broderie Anglaise trim. Skirt has a scalloped Broderie Anglaise pattern showing a plant on a circle at hem. Drawstring closure at neck and single linen button. c. 1900.
