Four men on stage at the first Golden Shears Championships held in Masterton in March 1961. Three in suits. One is making a presentation to a fourth man, casually dressed. Signage above but only partly shown "Golden Shears Promoted by "Wairarapa Federated Farmers", "Golden Shears Committee chose Wolsely machines". "Sponsors Borthwicks : Caltex : T V L".
