Description
A white cotton christening gown. Wide scoop neck with scalloped lace trim. Yoke has 3 vertical stripes of Broderie Anglaise that continue a third of the way down the skirt. Pin tucking on yoke between Broderie Anglaise stripes. Gathered waist with belt ties sewn to either side. Bottom of skirt features a band of pin tucking (9 rows), a band of Broderie Anglaise, a band of pin tucking (5 rows) and scalloped hem of Broderie Anglaise. Broderie Anglaise at base of skirt is a repeating leaf pattern. Long sleeves with a scalloped Broderie Anglaise cuff and a stripe of Broderie Anglaise running from shoulder to cuff. Single drawstring closure at back of neck.
