Description
Brass cartridge case from Browning 0.50 Calibre machine gun bullet.
Brief History
This is a 76 mm Shell Case from a M-41 tank. It is 76 mm in diameter where the shell ordinance is loaded. 1,082 M-41s were built by the Cadillac Division of General Motors at the Cleveland, Ohio, Tank Plant. The M-41 was named the Walker Bulldog in 1951 to honour General W.W. Walker, who was killed in a jeep accident in Korea that year.
