Description

Wallet - leather; folded double with a retaining cord running up the inside. Stitched outside border, worked pattern on the inside 'A.C.T.' stamped outside; owner's name inked/handwritten inside. Belonged to Gilbert Henry Elliot; started as a horse-tram driver, 8th March 1898. Drove tram No.11 during Jubilee Week 24-29th Nov., 1952. Conductor J Beacham, also long term employee.
