Description

Vincent aircraft compass (circa 1917-18), black metal body with a round base which has 4 holes to fix the compass upright on the panel of the aeroplane. The "bowl" shaped outer casing holds a floating compass which can be viewed through a round glass. On each side of the compass bowl is an anti-vibration mounting.
