Scooter goggles used by Helen Clark.

Description of use of scooter provided by Helen Clark:
'... this motorcycle was brought new by me in early 1971 for around $349 as I recall. It was purchased from my savings and with the aid of $100 from my parents for my 21st birthday. It was my first vehicle, and was used to ride from my Grey Lynn flat into the university every day. I was knocked off it twice by cars - once in Dominion Rd., and another time in Williamson Avenue.
I had stopped using it by the time I went into Parliament in 1981, but Peter continued to use it right up until the late 1990s to ride to the university.'
