Trousers (RNZAF) - grey blue, wool trousers with 7 buttons at the fly opening together with a brass clip at the waist. The front of the trousers has double pleats on either side of the opening. The pleats fold inwards. Around the waist band are 6 buttons for securing the tunic to the trousers and for braces, if required. The waistline is higher at the back than the front. The buttons around the waist band are light brown except the button at the back right, which is dark brown. There are left and right side pockets and a single right hip pocket. The inside waist is lined with grey denim cotton which extends down 110 mm from the top. The fly is also lined with grey denim cotton cloth behind the buttons. The pockets are made of white and grey cotton. The back hip pocket has losses in the grey cotton. It would appear that the 2 side pockets have been repaired as they comprise 2 different fabrics. The width of the trouser leg cuff is 255 mm, waist 780 mm and inside leg 790 mm.
