Typewriter painted black with maker's details in gold on front of machine. Document tray/rest mounted to top of unit. Motor and perforator unit attached to left-hand side. Standard QWERTY keyboard layout.
Brief History
Keyboard perforator used for preparing telegraph tape prior to transmission via an automatic telegraph transmitter. The perforator utilises a five-hole punch (three in front, two behind) using the Wheatstone system of transcribing morse code messages.
