Description
A two-seater airline seat from Air New Zealand plane fitted out for Queen Elizabeth II, who visited New Zealand in 1970. The seats were for the Ladies in Waiting. Both are upholstered in turquoise fabric with a raised blue floral patter repeated over the fabric. The seat backs and arm rests are covered in gold vinyl. The arm rest at the end is solid and the arm rest in the centre is a slimmer width and depth. The solid arm rest has an air vent and an ashtray, and the central arm rest has an ashtray. The base of the seats is metal.
