Description
Six rows of uniformed men (front row seated, left half of men have their legs crossed with their knee to the left, right half of men have their legs crossed with their knee to the right) in front of a Lancaster that is sitting in front of the open doors of a hanger. Parts of the nose, wings and propellers can be seen behind the last row of men. There is a tree in the far left background. The accompanying caption reads: No 166 Squadron, RAF Kirmington (Lancasters). Several New Zealanders are in this photo. Front row L to R: (1) F/O E. Smith, BA, Napier, (2) F/O H.
