Description

Showing Jean Batten shaking the hand of an unidentified male, possibly a representative for the Ambulance Trust Fund. The two other figures stand on the far left and far right of the group. The group stands in front of an ambulance that has the Red Cross emblem as well as the United Kingdom and French national flags painted on the exterior. On the right side of the ambulance there is another emblem with three lions and the text 'Presented by the Families of Jersey'.
