Showing the two standing in front of an easel displaying the painting. Percival is pointing to the painting. The easel has a label that reads 'This painting of Jean Batten's 'Gull' by Cyril Peckham will be presented by BP New Zealand Ltd. to The Jean Batten School, Auckland, New Zealand on 16 October 1972 to mark the anniversary of her pioneer solo flight from England to New Zealand 5 - 16 October 1936'. Thought to be taken at the unveiling of the painting in London.
