Description

A wooden commemorative plaque. The plaque features a circular emblem with an image of a snarling tigers face. The background is red. Surrounding the emblem is a gold coloured rope-like border with the number '1839' at the top. Above the emblem is a gold detail of a ship flanked by two sails. Below the emblem is a gold coloured scroll with black lettering 'Fleet Air Arm'. Embedded in the back of the plaque is a plastic hook for hanging marked with 'Made in Great Britain'.
