Description

A wooden commemorative plaque. The plaque features a central circular emblem with an image of a golden implement with a crown at the top and 'C and R' over a rose. Set against a red background. Surrounding the emblem is a gold coloured rope-like border with the name 'Speaker' at the top. Above the emblem is a gold detail of a ship flanked by two sails. Below the emblem is a gold coloured scroll with black lettering 'Facta non Verba', which translates as 'Deeds not Words'. Embedded in the back of the plaque is a plastic hook for hanging marked with 'Made in Great Britain'.
