Description
A wooden commemorative plaque. The plaque features a central circular emblem with a golden hoe and sword against a blue background. There are white and blue wavy lines in the lower section. Surrounding the emblem is a gold coloured rope-like border with the name '1834' at the top. Above the emblem is a gold detail of a ship flanked by two sails. Below the emblem is a gold coloured scroll with black lettering '1834 Squadron' Embedded in the back of the plaque is a plastic hook for hanging. The hook is marked 'Made in England'. There is a white printed adhesive sticker with the details of the seller or maker on it. White adhesive labels are on the back with: '1834 Corsair Squadron HMS Victorious 1945 NZ Pilots Neal Brymildsen, Ray Richards, Ken Tubeck, Jack West, Graham Wiley, Spence Wright'.
