Description

A wooden commemorative plaque. The plaque features a central circular emblem with a white owl perching on a ship's keel. Set against a blue background. Surrounding the emblem is a gold coloured rope-like border with the numbers '841' at the top. Above the emblem is a gold detail of a ship flanked by two sails. The band below the sails is coloured green. Below the emblem is a gold coloured scroll with black lettering 'Lucemus Nocte'. Embedded in the back of the plaque is a plastic hook for hanging. Marked on the back is 'Made in Great Britain'. Written in pencil on the back is: 'F M Wilson'.
