Description

A wooden commemorative plaque. The plaque features a central circular emblem with a flying Eagle and a Maltese cross (half white and half red). The bird is against a white background and the cross is set against a blue and white wavy striped background. Surrounding the emblem is a gold coloured rope-like border with the numbers '823' at the top. Above the emblem is a gold detail of a ship flanked by two sails. Below the emblem is a gold coloured scroll with black lettering 'Vigeur de Dessus'. Embedded in the back of the plaque is a plastic hook for hanging. Marked on the hook is 'Made in Great Britain'.
