Description
A rectangular shaped ceramic jug with a lid. Decorated on both sides with a transfer print of pink flowers, green leaves. A coloured parrot is perched on the foliage. The lid is rectangular and has a painted gold line at the edge and around the handle. There is a small transfer print of three orange flowers on the lid. Stamped on the base is: 'Empire Ware / Stoke on Trent / England / Ivory Glaze'. The stamp indicates this jug was manufactured between 1928 and 1939.
