Description
The Purma camera has a very unusual shutter design. It offers 3 shutter speeds but has no shutter speed selector. The speeds are simply: SLOW, MEDIUM and FAST. Medium speed is obtained by holding the camera horizontally; fast speed by holding it vertically with the winding knob on top, and slow speed is obtained by holding it vertically with the winding knob on the bottom. When the lens cap is in place, it presses the lens mount into the body of the camera and the shutter release is locked. This prevents the photographer from taking a shot when the lens cap is on.
