Description
Lockwood building being lifted into place to the top of the Auckland International terminal building. This Lockwood building was adapted to become the transit lounge for Air New Zealand in the early 80s. Part of the metal hexagonal outside structure can be seen. Two banners are attached to the building. One is Lockwood with the logo. The second is Air New Zealand First Class Transit Lounge Ready for take off. The crane has Centr.. on it. Two cranes can be seen under the building. There are other vehicles parked on the runway. Two men in suits and hardhats are watching from the top of the building. In the background is part of the enclosed walkway used to enter aeroplanes.
