Description

Album of restoration of the 1924 Leyland Tower Wagon during the late 1980s by Auckland Regional Council Central Workshops apprentices and staff over a four year period. Album contains reproductions of original invoices and annual licences of the Leyland Tower Wagon. As well as photographs of the vehicle before, during and after restoration at Gaunt Street Depot. Also includes press clippings and hand-painted album cover.
